Affects many properties in Alfama, Mouraria, Belem (Lisbon), Ribeira, Sao Bento (Porto), Evora, and Sintra. Protection perimeters extend beyond the classified building itself. Verify via SIPA database at patrimoniocultural.gov.pt.

When one co-owner sells their share of a jointly owned property

Common scenarios
Inherited properties, properties acquired jointly by separating couples
Less common in standard residential transactions but relevant for properties held in inheritance or joint ownership. Check caderneta predial and registo predial for ownership structure.
