EU Directive 2024/1275 published
New EPBD requires renovation passports, minimum standards for non-residential buildings, a renovation trajectory for homes, harmonised A-G scale, and digital building logbooks. Member states have until 29 May 2026 to transpose.

Portugal transposition in progress - working group constituted
ADENE is supporting GT-EPBD (working group) to prepare the legislative changes. DL 101-D/2020 will be revised to integrate new ZEB and carbon emissions requirements. Properties rated D–F start furthest from any future standard.
