Six questions about last winter

The seller lived through the season you cannot see. Ask before you make an offer.

1

Was the flat lived in last winter, and by how many people?

An empty flat produces little moisture and can hide a pattern.

2

How was it heated, and which rooms?

Unheated rooms show the envelope at its coldest.

3

Where did mold appear, and in which months?

The same wall every year points to the building.

4

When was each room last painted, and why?

A room repainted this autumn has not been through a winter yet.

5

Were windows or shutter boxes replaced? When?

Changes the cold surfaces, and the date tells you how many winters have tested them.

6

Has anything been treated for mold or damp?

A treatment is a record that the problem was there before.

Written answers, sent before the CPCV, give you something to point back to if the mold returns after the escritura.
